urban boudoir
i love the juxtaposition of this fancy pants headboard and bedroom set-up against the raw cement and timber wall--so urban boudoir chic!

this nifty lamp was upcycled out of an old thermos--very handsome don't you think? as seen in san francisco's hayes valley at zonal home interiors

life saver
how great is this for artwork (despite the reflections in the glass due to my poor photography)? this piece probably measures about 36" square or so and is one of three that make an amazing triptych as seen at one of my new favorite stores in san francisco's hayes valley: cisco home

rae dunn and other great artists
i went to the renegade craft fair this weekend and it was as fantastic as ever--so many talented artists out there! i wanted to buy so many things but had to put myself on a budget. one of my absolute favorite ceramicists, rae dunn, was there (below are a few pics from her booth). and, of course i had to buy a few things from her. her little dishes make fab hostess gifts (or keep them for yourself!). you can buy many of her items for yourself at her etsy store here. or read her fun blog here.

renegade craft fair
this is always a great show so if you are in san francisco this weekend with a bit of time on your hands, get over to fort mason to support the crafty artists at the renegade craft fair. it is chock full of clever folks with fresh ideas.

smart bubbles
i got this smart looking seltzer bottle at the flea market for $30. according to a quick ebay search, i think i did ok on the price. saw a few similar for less but most were for more. regardless, i think this will be a handsome addition to my bar.

this little piggy went to the bank
who doesn't need a retirement plan--these little oinkers should get me on my way. you would think it would be easy to find cute little, all-white porcelain piggy banks but, alas, my retirement plan is only three pigs full.
unknown origin but she still helps with the retirement fund! |
this guy has things written on him like "therapy", "lottery tickets" and "take out" |
found him standing at attention on a german website |
these three little piggies all in my home |
